Substance Abuse Counselor I

The Behavioral Health Substance Abuse Counselor shall develop and maintain an outpatient treatment program and facilitate group meetings for individuals affected by substance use. The substance abuse treatment counselor shall provide clinical substance abuse counseling services through treatment modalities such as crisis intervention, individual and group counseling to educate, prevent or improve psycho social problems, particularly pertaining to substance use.

Requirements/Minimum Qualifications:

  • CCAPP Certification
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in drug and alcohol related field.

  • Typing and computer skills.
