The Redding Rancheria is seeking a Custodian. The preferred schedule for this position is Monday- Friday 3:30 pm to 12:30 am.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Custodian performs a variety of general cleaning and custodial work.
REQUIREMENTS/MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- 6 months of building cleaning experience preferred
- Must have current CDL, and have current DMV clearance.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening.
- Indian preference.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
- Sweep, dust, mop, scrub, and vacuum.
- Dust, wax, wash and polish furniture and woodwork.
- Wash windows, walls, window shades and windowsills, ledges and Venetian blinds.
- Clean heating and air conditioning ventilators.
- Clean and dust books and shelves and polish metal work.
- Clean and disinfect rest rooms.
- Empty and clean waste receptacles.
- Turn out lights and lock doors and windows: activate alarm system as required.
- Maintain equipment and keep work area clean
