The Redding Rancheria is seeking a Gaming Information Systems Engineer. The schedule for this position will be Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 3:00pm.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Gaming Information Systems Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining surveillance and gaming systems within the Tribal Gaming Agency. This role focuses on ensuring the security, integrity, and efficiency of systems to support regulatory compliance. The Systems Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, integrate, and optimize surveillance technologies to enhance the overall safety and performance of the Gaming Department’s environment while adhering to Tribal Regulations and industry standards.

REQUIREMENTS/MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science OR five to ten years of network and systems experience.
  • Minimum one year Low Voltage, Surveillance Technical, Information Technology or related experience required.
  • Knowledge of the utilization, operation and care of computer and related electronic data processing equipment.
  • Knowledge of general principles of computer systems operation, including potential uses and limitations. Considerable knowledge of PC operations, networks and software.
  • Knowledge of all laws and regulations related to Gaming industry and surveillance, as well as Tribal policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of Class II and III gaming operations.
  • Algebraic math skills and analytical problem solving skills.
  • Ability to supervise the operation of computers and related equipment.
  • Must have the ability to effectively follow direction Ability to configure IP Cameras as well as Coax Cameras.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from users of network.
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with management, other employees and vendors. Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • You will need to be able to analyze complex systems and identify the root cause of problems quickly and efficiently.
  • Ability to climb stairs often, and stand for long hours.
  • Position is subject to working with lift trucks for extended periods of time with the installation of surveillance equipment requiring the use of appropriate tools requiring manual dexterity.
  • Must have auditory ability to hear alarms, radio traffic and telephone communications.
  • Frequently walks and reaches above/below shoulder level.
  • Occasionally bend/stoop, squat, crawl, climb heights, crouch, kneel, and push, pull.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. Provide support on servers, including e-mail, print and backup servers and their associated operating systems and software.
2. Provide support on security solutions, including firewall, anti-virus, and intrusion detection systems.

16. Responsible to maintain confidentiality of Win-River Resort and Casino operations.
17. Supports Surveillance staff when needed.
18. Recommend, schedule, and perform network improvements, upgrades, and repairs.
19. Provide technical user support and training as needed.
20. Monitors and tests system performance; prepares and delivers system performance statistics and reports
21. Gauges the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems; develop and implement strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems.

15. Assist with Fiduciary Review.
16. Prepares and distributes Honorarium for the following General Membership events: monthly meetings, anniversary event, Members Conferences, and Christmas Party.
17. Coordinate Swearing in Ceremony for newly elected Tribal Council. This includes the room set up, sending invitations to the General Membership, and ordering food.
18. Perform additional office operations or specialized business functions as related to Tribal Council.
19. Create and/or maintain file retrieval system (Docstar).
20. Answer, redirect and respond to telephone calls as necessary.
21. Greet and direct department visitors and clients.
22. Process and distribute Tribal Council related mail.

Accountant I – Accounts Payable Specialist

JOB SUMMARY:

Under the supervision of the Controller this position performs a variety of accounting support functions for the Redding Rancheria Tribal Government Finance Department. Directly responsible for the timely and accurate processing of all account payable invoices, reviewing invoices and requisitions for accuracy and within policy and procedures. Interacts with staff, Tribal Members, and vendors on a daily basis for the Redding Rancheria and serves as the primary backup to the Accountant I-Purchasing Specialist.

REQUIREMENTS/MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

•2 year degree in accounting or a minimum of 5 years of experience in similar accounting positions.
•Must pass pre-employment drug screening.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  1. Perform any of the following accounting tasks: accounts payable, purchasing and procurement.
  2. Follows up with Managers on unapproved invoices and/or errors to avoid late payments.
  3. Reviews vendor contracts and follows payment guidelines.
  4. Responsible for contacting vendors for missing invoices and correcting errors.
  5. Works with Purchasing Specialist to provide missing information, including receiving documents as needed.

  9. Date stamps and reviews all purchase orders and attached invoices for completion, including appropriate account coding, proper signing authority, and dollar amount approved for the Redding Rancheria in the absence of Purchasing Specialist.
  10. Researches and/or obtains best pricing for products requested on purchase orders in the absence of Purchasing Specialist.
  11. Works with purchase order requester to ensure appropriate items, quantities, and shipment terms are met in absence of Purchasing Specialist.
  12. Maintains credit card checking out process and pre-paid voucher files in the absence of Purchasing Specialist.
  13. Reviews voucher cover sheet by checking vendor, coding, amount, accounting period, 1099 details, remit address, and payment terms to be sure all information is accurately recorded. Makes corrections as needed.
  14. Maintains general office supply inventory and performs monthly inventory of supplies on hand.
  15. Assist with all Departmental needs in reference to filing and scanning documents.
  16. Compile and sort documentation.
  17. Verify and prepare working papers to support the details of business transactions.
  18. Ensure proper accounting in accordance with the established policies and procedures.
  19. Perform accurate and timely processing.
  20. Communicate with others in the department.
  21. Apply analytical skills and maintain organization.
