The Redding Rancheria is seeking a Custodian. The preferred schedule for this position is Monday-Wednesday 3:30 pm-12 am and Saturday-Sunday 7 am-4 pm.

JOB SUMMARY:

Performs a variety of general cleaning and custodial work.

REQUIREMENTS/MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 6 months of building cleaning experience preferred
  • Must have current CDL, and have current DMV clearance.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screening.
  • Indian preference.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Sweep, dust, mop, scrub, and vacuum.
  • Dust, wax, wash and polish furniture and woodwork.
  • Wash windows, walls, window shades and windowsills, ledges and Venetian blinds.
  • Clean heating and air conditioning ventilators.
  • Clean and dust books and shelves and polish metal work.
  • Clean and disinfect rest rooms.
  • Empty and clean waste receptacles.
  • Turn out lights and lock doors and windows: activate alarm system as required.
  • Maintain equipment and keep work area clean.

The Redding Rancheria is seeking an Administrative Assistant I- Government Affairs.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Government Affairs Administrative Assistant I will play a vital role in supporting the government affairs team by providing administrative and logistical assistance. This role offers a unique opportunity to engage with key stakeholders, participate in the legislative process, and contribute to the Tribe’s strategic objectives.

REQUIREMENTS/MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associates degree in Political Science, Public Administration, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with database management.
  • Ability to travel to offsite locations for Redding Rancheria Government Affairs related events.
  • Computer skills and experience with a variety of word processing and spreadsheet software.
  • Demonstrated typing skills of 30-40 wpm or more and the ability to operate office equipment.
  • Previous experience in government affairs, public relations, or administrative support is a plus.
  • Must pass background screening.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screening.
  • Indian preference.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Maintain a flexible schedule, which includes evenings and weekends, to attend/speak at political events when need arises.
  • Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel arrangements for government affairs team members.
  • Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, presentations, and other documents with a high level of accuracy and professionalism.
  • Assist in building and maintaining positive relationships with government officials, industry associations, and advocacy groups. Act as a liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication.
  • Monitor legislative and regulatory developments relevant to our industry. Summarize key points and provide timely updates to the government affairs team, enabling informed decision-making.
  • Conduct research on policy issues, legislation, and emerging trends that impact the Redding Rancheria. Synthesize complex information into concise summaries and actionable recommendations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of interactions with government officials and external partners. Assist in the management of databases and tracking systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information, provide support for government affairs initiatives, and contribute to company-wide projects as needed.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times.

Assists manager with administrative tasks, such as sorting mail, responding to email, creating PowerPoint presentations, scheduling zoom meetings, maintaining Government Affairs calendar, voicemail, etc.

Family Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant

Essential Job Duties:

  • Provide direct patient care services within the scope of a family practice physician assistant including outpatient and urgent care services. Meeting specific needs of the local Native American population in the health service area in accordance with supervising agreements and standardized care procedures.
  • Consult with physician medical staff on complex patient care issues.
  • Manage and document patient care in the Electronic Medical Record; including but not limited to: patient visit, electronic prescribing, lab and order management.
  • Assure that health education is provided with each patient encounter.
  • Assist in the development of Standards of Care for the medical department.
  • Provide required federal and state ambulatory patient care data on appropriate forms.
  • Obtains appropriate consultations when problems presented are outside the scope of practice or when unfamiliar with a particular aspect of patient care.
  • Participate in Quality Assurance (QA) and Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) activities, including regularly scheduled department and provider meetings, case management, Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee, Drug Utilization and Review, clinical audits and peer review.
  • Advise the Medical Department Management Team of any situations that may adversely impact the efficiency of the medical department.

Requirements/Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Family Nurse Practitioner-Graduate of an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner Program and posses a current and valid R.N. license.
  2. Physician Assistant-Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant Program and possess a valid Physician Assistant certificate.
  3. CPR certification or ALLS certification preferred.
  4. Must pass pre-employment drug screening.
  5. Indian preference.
  6. Must be fingerprinted and pass background check
