JOB SUMMARY:

Under direction from the Pharmacist in Charge: The Pharmacy Technician will assist in checking eligibility, responsible for third party insurance and grant billing, provide customer service; answer phones; operate Point of Sale (POS) register, maintaining the pharmacy stock levels; assist pharmacist in filling prescriptions in accordance with Federal and State laws governing the pharmacy industry.

REQUIREMENTS/MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Active California State Board of Pharmacy Technician license in good standing required
  2. Basic computer and typing skills.
  3. Cash register and customer service experience.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

  1. Manage incoming requests from patient, provider and referral team for new medications and medication refills.
  2. Understands the insurance and healthcare benefits, submits prior authorizations to the PBM, and ensures that the required supporting documentation is submitted for review.
  3. Investigate and verify benefits for pharmacy claims for assigned cases
  4. Contact providers for additional information to facilitate coverage determination reviews
  5. Notify physicians, providers and members of coverage determination request decisions
  6. Ensure scripts are filled in a timely manner by coordinating with the requesting provider, and reaching out to other departments as needed.
  7. Ensure the patient completed the necessary labs and diagnostic testing as required prior to dispensing certain medication (Accutane, etc)
  8. Responsible for understanding the clinical protocols for medication refills as established by the organization
  9. Adheres to the implemented refill center workflow.
  10. Adapts easily to a high volume, fast pace medical group setting.
  11. Manage escalated patient care issues in collaboration with the Admissions, Providers and Case Management teams as appropriate.
  12. Prepare medication for mailing, delivery, operate register, handle money and prepare deposits accurately.
  13. Assist and perform all inventory activities: drug ordering, insurance audits, recalls, returns, outdates, CII reconciliation, maintaining pharmacy stock levels.
  14. Communicate with the Pharmacist on duty for consults on medications as well as discrepancies on drug orders.

Accountant I – Accounts Payable Specialist

JOB SUMMARY:

Under the supervision of the Controller this position performs a variety of accounting support functions for the Redding Rancheria Tribal Government Finance Department. Directly responsible for the timely and accurate processing of all account payable invoices, reviewing invoices and requisitions for accuracy and within policy and procedures. Interacts with staff, Tribal Members, and vendors on a daily basis for the Redding Rancheria and serves as the primary backup to the Accountant I-Purchasing Specialist.

REQUIREMENTS/MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. 2 year degree in accounting or a minimum of 5 years of experience in similar accounting positions.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

1. Perform any of the following accounting tasks: accounts payable, purchasing and procurement.

2. Follows up with Managers on unapproved invoices and/or errors to avoid late payments

10. Researches and/or obtains best pricing for products requested on purchase orders in the absence of Purchasing Specialist

11. Works with purchase order requester to ensure appropriate items, quantities, and shipment terms are met in absence of Purchasing Specialist

12. Maintains credit card checking out process and pre-paid voucher files in the absence of Purchasing Specialist

13. Reviews voucher cover sheet by checking vendor, coding, amount, accounting period, 1099 details, remit address, and payment terms to be sure all information is accurately recorded. Makes corrections as needed

14. Maintains general office supply inventory and performs monthly inventory of supplies on hand

15. Assist with all Departmental needs in reference to filing and scanning documents

16. Compile and sort documentation

JOB SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the Chief Executive Officer, this position will direct the Tribe’s primary government’s financial planning, financial management and accounting practices as well as its relationship with government agencies, banking and lending institutions, investment managers, insurers, the financial community and Tribal members by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate managers. Provides support to executive management and the Tribal Council in developing and implementing overall Tribal strategic direction for financial policies and objectives.

REQUIREMENTS/MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics or a closely related field; advanced degree or professional accounting certification (i.e., CPA, CMA, CGFM) preferred.

  1. Provides direct management to the Tribal Finance Division including accounting, budgeting, grant compliance, financial reporting, internal controls, investment management, debt placement, banking and treasury, audit, procurement, property management and risk management.

Recovery Administrative Assistant II

JOB SUMMARY:

Working under the supervision of the Recovery Director, the Recovery Administrative Assistant II performs a variety of office and clinical support including staffing the Recovery Department front office, greeting patients warmly and answering patient / community phone calls and inquiries, as well as patient care such as rooming, vitals, and medical assisting for the Recovery Providers. The Recovery Administrative Assistant will be responsible for scheduling appointments, managing internal and external referrals, and assisting the Director on special projects and assignments (example: outreach events, PowerPoint presentations, data entry, purchasing and organizing supplies). This position requires a working knowledge and ability to utilize all aspects of Microsoft office and NextGen PM and EHR.

REQUIREMENTS/MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  2. Associate Degree in a related field preferred.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. Serves as the information and communication hub for the Recovery Department.

3. Responsible for the readiness of all common areas of the department for each working day, and have all front desk activities fully operational at the start and end of business hours.
4. Greets patients and visitors with friendliness, in person or on the telephone, answering or referring inquiries, screening and directing patients to appropriate staff.

8. Works as a Medical Assistant roughly 20-25% of their time; including rooming patients, vitals, documenting nursing notes, and collecting/ sending urine toxicology per clinic policies.
9. Setting up Zoom meetings, and telehealth appointments as necessary.
10. Answers all incoming calls and checks voicemails routinely, as well as triage calls according to policy. Must return all patients calls within 24 hours (Monday- Friday).
11. Completes appointment reminder calls for all recovery services.
12. Organizes and maintains paper and electronic records and documents, including distribution and communication of required data and information using telephones, postal mail, fax and email. This includes creating and maintaining a paperless environment to the extent possible and maintaining departmental files

13. Manages department special projects; maintains multiple calendars for the department, arranges meetings, conferences, teleconferences, presentations, travel, creates agendas, takes minutes of meetings, etc.
14. Create, edit or proof Recovery marketing materials (flyers, brochures, calendars) and various reports or presentations in support of the department activities.
15. Maintains department supplies and materials inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed materials & supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies, and distribution as needed
16. Sort, screen and distribute incoming and outgoing mail related to Recovery team and CCHC staff.
17. Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by respecting and maintaining the privacy and dignity of patients, assuring client confidentiality at all times.

Medical Records Technician 1

The Redding Rancheria is seeking a Medical Records Technician 1.

JOB SUMMARY:

Maintain and protect patient medical records in accordance with clinic policies and guidelines for patient confidentiality.

REQUIREMENTS/MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Prefer medical records experience to include numerical chart filing, lab and x-ray disposition. Must have professional phone courtesy.
  • Prefer current understanding of ICD-10 Coding & interpretation. Must pass pre-employment drug screening.
  • Indian preference.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

 

  • Audit patient documentation, and signature of all paperwork from all departments.
  • Scan and file (PAQ) all laboratory, radiology, consultation, etc. and other pertinent medical records for review and signature.
  • Validate requests and authorizations for the release of medical information.
  • Request medical records/other additional information from outside healthcare facilities.
  • Respond to authorized requests for information by outside healthcare facilities.
  • Issuing medical records to persons and agencies according to laws and regulations.
  • Prepare charts for chart audits such as HEDIS.
  • JJ Transcription dictations – upload/download (Contact Providers).
  • Detailed record keeping on permitted disclosures.
  • Maintain incoming records through different interfaces and ensure they are filed into the correct chart.
