JOB SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the Sr. Director of Human Resources, performs a variety of office support and/or secretarial duties for the Human Resources Department. Incumbent will compose and process a variety of standard documents and correspondence, replaying telephone inquiries, process forms, draft Human Resources communications, and properly filing, maintaining, and retrieving all personnel files.

REQUIREMENTS/MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1 to 3 years of clerical experience.
  • Computer skills and experience with a variety of word processing and spreadsheet software.
  • Demonstrated typing skills of 30-40 wpm or more and the ability to operate office equipment.

9. Serves as relief to the Tribal Receptionist performing all duties and responsibilities assigned to that position.
10. Review, respond and maintain the Human Resources email.
11. Assist in coordinating events and helping during department events.
12. Sort, screen, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail related to the Human Resources Department. Assist Senior Director with preparation of and organization of annual reviews.
13. Processes Employee Recognitions.
14. Oversees Employee of the Month nominations, awards, and coordination of notification.
15. Facilitates New Employee Breakfasts.
16. Assists Senior Director with power point presentations.
17. Maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times.
18. Sets up Zoom meetings for Senior Director.

JOB SUMMARY:

Coordinate referrals from Redding Rancheria Tribal Health Systems to other health care providers for patient care that is not performed at the Health Center. Referrals are made to providers such as physicians, diagnostic facilities, radiology, laboratories, and hospitals.

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Experience with pre-authorization process for 3rd Party payers.
  • Medical Terminology.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. Receive referrals/requests from providers through the EHR and schedule outside care as indicated.

Acquire pertinent records, labs, x-rays, diagnostic tests and health summaries related to the patient’s current condition from the medical records; forward information to the specialist or facility involved.
3. Enter referral data, and insurance information into EHR.
4. Track all referrals sent out to ensure completion of care and receipt of related documentation using SQL reports.
5. Maintain all required data in the EHR to comply with clinic, state and federal mandates.
6. Request medical records/other additional information from outside healthcare facilities.
7. Respond to authorized requests for information by outside healthcare facilities.

Dental Receptionist

12. Apply fluoride varnish treatments as a preventative service.
13. Apply desensitizing agents to coronal and root surfaces as needed for sensitivity.
14. Apply anti-microbial agents as needed.
15. Apply silver diamine fluoride for caries control and management.
16. Polish and contour restorations.
17. Administer topical and local anesthetic agents for pain control.
18. Administer nitrous oxide and oxygen when needed as an anxiolytic.
19. Promote oral health by educating patients and caregivers with an emphasis on oral disease processes, bacteria etiology, diet and nutrition.
20. Assess oral home care routines and create a custom regimen based on patient needs.
21. Inform patients and caregivers on the oral systemic link of many health conditions and illnesses.
22. Research and evaluate oral health care products and treatment for safety and efficacy.
23. Scheduling of all appointment types to optimize Dentist’s and Hygienist’s schedules to be efficient, productive and manageable.

JOB SUMMARY:

Staffing and Resource Coordinator

JOB SUMMARY:

The Staffing and Resource Coordinator generates, manages, and updates employee master schedules and inventory management of clinical medical supplies. The position requires making adjustments as needed according to operational needs, staff call-ins, and pre-planned leaves of absence within the Tribal Healthcare System. In collaboration with the Director of Nursing and Nursing Supervisors, the Staffing and Resource Coordinator will coordinate staffing on a projected and shift by shift basis to ensure operational needs and necessary medical supplies are maintained across the health system.

REQUIREMENTS/MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in logistics or inventory management preferred.
  • Staff scheduling experience in healthcare preferred, preferably in outpatient clinic setting.
  • Word processing, Excel, and spreadsheet and/or inventory software experience required.
  • Critical thinker with a problem-solving mind.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or medical supply inventory assignments/roles.

Behavioral Health Lead Case Manager

JOB SUMMARY:

The Behavioral Health Lead Case Manager will be responsible for training new case managers and providing daily oversight to the Case Management Team in conjunction with the Behavioral Health Director. Oversight includes but is not limited to, guidance related to service delivery and documentation, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, appropriately managing caseloads, and coordinating work schedules. The Behavioral Health Case Manager Lead will work directly with Behavioral Health patients and staff to effectively link patients to social services and treatment options. The Case Manager Lead will help patients navigating the healthcare system by providing case management, care coordination, outreach, support and linkage to care.

REQUIREMENTS/MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 4 years case management experience.

  8. Provides ongoing support for clients while continually assessing their need for increased mental health services and providing crisis intervention when needed.
  9. Advocates for the patient/family to ensure the most compassionate and proper care is given.
  10. Gathers patient records and any other necessary documentation from external facilities for

  11. Maintains record of Substance Abuse Treatment funding budget for Native American patients and coordinates treatment planning with the Recovery Department and Tribal Court.

  14. Coordinates referrals for services required to improve the client’s health status.
  15. Maintains accurate and timely documentation, records, and case files in the NextGen system.
  16. Manages and communicates lab results, referrals, and medication issues between providers and patients via clinical tasking.
  17. Ensures follow up with patients regarding missed appointments and medication requests.
  18. Rooms patients and records vital signs.
  19. Reviews patient daily schedule for controlled medications and performs urine screenings for patients who are on controlled medications per DEA guidelines
  20. Completes prior authorizations and appeals for patient medications.
  21. Develops and maintains knowledge of a community-based network of alternative modes of care; aids clients to connect with community-based organizations to support and enhance wellness.
  22. Answers and triages department calls, and distributes department referrals with guidance, in accordance with identified department service levels.
