JOB SUMMARY:

The Information Security Engineer is responsible for safeguarding the organization’s digital assets by designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security measures. This role involves conducting comprehensive risk assessments, vulnerability testing, and penetration testing to identify and mitigate potential threats. The engineer will develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards while maintaining up to date knowledge about emerging security trends and technologies. Coordinate referrals from Redding Rancheria Tribal Health Systems to other health care providers for patient care that is not performed at the Health Center. Referrals are made to providers such as physicians, diagnostic facilities, radiology, laboratories, and hospitals.

Medical Scribe

The Redding Rancheria is seeking a Medical Scribe. The preferred schedule for this position is full-time and 4 ,10 hour shifts.

BASIC JOB PURPOSE/FUNCTION:

Medical Scribes are individuals trained in medical documentation who assist a provider throughout their shift. The primary goal is to increase the efficiency and productivity of the physician. It will be the responsibility of the Medical Scribe to annotate any dictated or written information for the treatment of patients following all local, state, and federal guidelines for documentation into the electronic health record system. The Medical Scribe will be responsible for clearly recording each patient’s symptoms, history, physical exam, sending referrals, ordering labs, ordering x-rays, and documenting the diagnosis. This position will have no direct involvement in patient care, but has an interdepartmental role in assisting nursing and front office staff.

REQUIREMENTS/MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. One year of experience in a healthcare field preferred or minimum 2 year of college education with Medical Terminology, Anatomy, and Physiology coursework/degree.

  1. The primary role of the Medical Scribe is to assist the clinician with documentation of each patient’s medical chart during his or her visit.
  2. Accompanies the clinician into the patient examination area in order to transcribe a history and physical examination as given by the patient and physician.
  3. Documents any procedures performed by the clinician or nurses and printing the consent forms prior to the procedure, on the electronic medical chart.
  4.  Is an expert in the use of various templates and documentation techniques available in the EHR system, and use these tools efficiently so individual encounters can be well documented, as well as accurately congregate data collected for statistical reports.
  5. Transcribes any consultations or discussions with family members and/or the clinician. Completes the patient’s chart by transcribing results of any labs, x-rays, or other evaluations. In doing so, the scribe continuously checks on the progress of this data in order to get the patient’s workup complete so that the clinician is able to make his or her decisions regarding that patient. Lists all proper diagnoses as well as any follow up instructions and prescriptions, as dictated by the clinician.
  6. The Medical Scribe is to order labs and order x-rays, with knowing how to add the patient to the x-ray schedule.
  7. Transcribe referrals during the visit while sending it to the correct specialty.
  8. Generating notes, excusal letters, and any other forms the clinician requires; in so being able to navigate the document library.
  9. The Medical Scribe is to know how to schedule a patient for future visits.
  10. The Medical Scribe is to be able to look up insurance, in assisting the front staff.
  11. The Medical Scribe is to aide in management of QIP measures.
  12. Performs other clerical duties and tasks to improve provider productivity and clinic workflow as assigned.
  13. Ensures medical record compliance by self-documentation attestation.
  14. Other duties as assigned.

Medication Transporter

  2. Healthcare Quality experience, working with IHS, AAAHC, Partnership, HEDIS and GPRA strongly desired.
  3. Experience working in a clinic setting and a demonstrated commitment to improving quality care for patients within RRTHS.

  3. In collaboration with QI committee and under the direction of the Quality Improvement Manager develops, implements and monitors QI activities/campaigns for RRTHS.
  4. Develops business cases for identified QI ideas or projects and presents to the quality team.
  5. Works with clinical staff to optimize use of the EHR to ensure data quality.
  6. Coordinates new and existing employee trainings with the training department and managers related to quality initiatives, under the direction of the QI Manager and/or assigned Director.

  8. Performs concurrent and retrospective case reviews.
  9. Conducts chart reviews, screenings and peer reviews to assess strengths, challenges and barriers to compliance, evaluates this data and determines best outreach strategy.

Provide patient education during outreach calls as it relates to quality improvement activities (which may include, but not limited to: Encourage compliance with preventative and chronic disease management services; provide reminders to patients on upcoming preventive health screening appointments; educate patients on the importance of routine health visits).
  11. Assist with QI team meetings- may include organizing meeting agendas, meeting minutes and other necessary documentation as assigned.
  12. Analyze data collected for Performance Improvement initiatives, tracks, trends, and prepares information to submit to appropriate committees.

Compliance Officer

The Redding Rancheria is seeking a Compliance Officer. The preferred schedule for this position is Monday- Friday.

JOB SUMMARY:

Develop, implement and maintain an independent audit for review of Gaming Operations utilizing the current audit procedures manual. This position will administer an Audit Plan to evaluate compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. You will be responsible for the review and investigation of any and all incident reports from security and/or surveillance.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

  1.  Develop, implement and maintain an independent Audit Program for the Gaming Commission’s Compliance Audit Plan utilizing the current audit procedures manual.
  2.  Select, verify and analyze transactions for audit projects based on defined criteria.
  3.  Verify policies and procedures are in compliance with applicable Federal, State and Redding Rancheria Laws, Rules and Regulations.
  4.  Review transactions, documents, records, reports and methods utilized for accuracy and effectiveness.
  5.  Develop audit reports and express recommendations for the correction of non-compliance issues. Submit audit results for review.
  6.  Follow-up on previous areas of corrective actions were implemented.
  7.  Conduct interviews of gaming staff and management as needed/required.
  8.  Review and evaluate compliance exception issues provided by external and internal sources, e.g. Commission members, and audit functions.
  9.  Perform required independent MIC’s and TIC’s audits in a timely manner.
  10.  Perform random department audits and develop internal audit forms and procedures.
  11.  Coordinate annual audit with external auditors.
  12.  Keep inventory of all Gaming machines including their location on the gaming floor.
  13.  Process background investigations on potential and current vendors-renewals-Same as Licensing clerk
  14.  Insure all new games meet or beat all internal controls regulations, etc.
  15.  Must verify slot machine signatures.
  16.  Background investigation comply with state compact Licensing section, gaming commission regulations vendor section.
  17.  Issue vendor licenses and keep an updated inventory of Gaming and Non-Gaming
  18.  Assist in the investigation process, when improprieties are identified, furnished and providing testimony as needed/required.

Accountant II- Health Clinic Specialist

The Redding Rancheria is seeking an Accountant II- Health Clinic Specialist. The preferred schedule for this position is Monday – Friday 8 am to 5 pm.

JOB SUMMARY:

Directly responsible for the daily reconciliations and preparation of reporting for all clinic facilities for Medical Self Insurance, Medi-Cal and Medicare.  Submits prepared reconciliations and reporting for final review to Director of Financial Services and works closely with the billing department to ensure that Third Party collections are maximized.  Assists as needed with coverage and overall support within the entire billing department.

REQUIREMENTS/MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Bachelor degree in accounting or at least five years of experience in similar accounting positions.

JOB SUMMARY:

The purpose of this position is to provide a full range of intake, scheduling, follow-up and clerical support services for the Behavioral Health Department.    The Behavioral Health staff provides Mental Health Counseling, Substance Use Disorder Counseling, Group Counseling, Psychiatry Services, Psychological Testing, Case Management and Integrative Behavioral Health.
