JOB SUMMARY:

Maintain and protect patient medical records in accordance with clinic policies and guidelines for patient confidentiality.

REQUIREMENTS/MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Prefer medical records experience to include numerical chart filing, lab and x-ray disposition. Must have professional phone courtesy.
  • Prefer current understanding of ICD-10 Coding & interpretation. Must pass pre-employment drug screening.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

 

  • Audit patient documentation, and signature of all paperwork from all departments.
  • Scan and file (PAQ) all laboratory, radiology, consultation, etc. and other pertinent medical records for review and signature.

Quality Improvement Manager

JOB SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Director of Informatics the Quality Improvement Manager (QIM) plays a vital role in developing and managing the continuous quality improvement and quality assurance programs within the Redding Rancheria Tribal Health System (RRTHS). The Quality Improvement Manager manages the performance of health center quality improvement activities, provider quality reviews, establishes and monitors quality improvement goals, and organizes outcomes research. This position is an integral part of improving overall clinical quality measures and will oversee the development of clinical and operational reports; clinical compliance with HEIDS / GPRA measures and regulatory requirements to enhance patient outcomes and meet organizational goals.

REQUIREMENTS/MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  •  Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in a healthcare related field.
  • Master’s Degree preferred.
  • State RN licensure or a License in healthcare field preferred.
  • 4 – 5 years’ healthcare experience. 1-4 years’ quality improvement experience.
  • Supervisory experience required.
  • Certified professional in healthcare quality preferred.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Serves as the Quality Improvement Coordinator for the Redding Rancheria Tribal Health System (RRTHS).
  • Performs ongoing monitoring of QI measures and identifies areas of opportunity in data quality and clinical, non-clinical and operational performance.
  • In collaboration with QI committee and under the direction of the Quality Improvement Manager develops, implements and monitors QI activities/campaigns for RRTHS.
  • Develops business cases for identified QI ideas or projects and presents to the quality team.
  • Works with clinical staff to optimize use of the EHR to ensure data quality.

  • Performs concurrent and retrospective case reviews.

JOB SUMMARY:

Perform system duties on surveillance equipment, including programming, network, electricity and the ability to install, maintain, and repair surveillance equipment. Monitor and oversee all aspects of gaming in the Casino.

REQUIREMENTS/MINIMUM

The education requirements outlined here are representative of the minimum that must be met by the team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this position; however, higher levels of education than required will be reflected during the recruitment process:

  • A High School diploma, or the equivalent thereof, is preferred
  • Scissor lift Certification, must obtain in 6 months
  • BICSI certification (INSTC, INSTF), is preferred

QUALIFICATIONS:

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

This individual must be able to meet the suitability requirements of the Redding Rancheria’s Gaming Agency to obtain a gaming license.

  • Ability to learn and operate Closed Circuit Television System
  • Requires a person with the utmost integrity, and one that has no hesitation in reporting what he/she observes, no matter what the circumstances.

Behavioral Health Case Manager

The Redding Rancheria is seeking a Behavioral Health Case Manager

 

JOB SUMMARY:

The Behavioral Health Case Manager will work directly with Behavioral Health patients and staff to effectively link patients to social services and treatment options. The Case Manager will help patients navigating the healthcare system by providing case management, care coordination, outreach, support and linkage to care.

 

 

REQUIREMENTS/MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree in psychology or social work.
  • Documented experience working in a mental health related field.
  • Preferred experience in evaluating patient eligibility and Alternate Resources status.
  • Must be proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite programs including Word, Excel, Publisher, and PowerPoint to make spreadsheets, graphs, manage data and create brochures, presentations and documents on computers as needed.
  • Must pass background assessment of moral character and legal status. Must submit to fingerprint identification with law enforcement and be able to work with children.
  • Must demonstrate emotional stability, independent judgement, and initiative in professional activities and relationships with clients and co-workers.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Provides case management services, referral and coordination with other allied professionals and treatment providers, including Medical Providers, Psychiatrists, Therapists, Tribal Child and Family Services, School IEP Coordinators, Courts, Substance Abuse Treatment Facilities, and other community-based agencies.
  • Initiates and coordinates individualized care plan for clients, addressing both clinical and non-clinical components, and ensuring the care plan is available to the patient, primary care provider, Behavioral Health Therapist, psychiatrist, substance abuse counselor and/or other internal departments as needed on a case-by-case basis.
  • Provides ongoing support for clients while continually assessing their need for increased mental health services and providing crisis intervention when needed.
  • Advocates for the patient/family to ensure the most compassionate and proper care is given.
  • Gathers patient records and any other necessary documentation from external facilities for providers to use for treatment planning.
  • Coordinates treatment planning with the Recovery Department and Tribal Court as needed.
  • Ensures smooth implementation and continuum, of care via effective and frequent communication with clients, or their identified health care designee(s) medical team members, and pharmacy technicians.
  • Coordinates referrals for services required to improve the client’s health status.
  • Maintains accurate and timely documentation, records, and case files in the NextGen system.
  • Manages and communicates lab results, referrals, and medication issues between providers and patients via clinical tasking.
  • Ensures follow up with patients regarding missed appointments and medication requests.
  • Rooms patients and records vital signs.

Under the direction of the Assistant Dental Director, provides a range of clinical administrative and staff support to the dental services operation. Assists in the performance of dental and radiography procedures; prepares and maintains dental equipment and supplies in accordance with established protocol, procedures, policies, and standards, and assists in the coordination of day-to-day patient administration, records management, and office support activities.

  • Current California State Board of Registered Dental Assistant License.
  • Radiography Certification.
  • CPR certification required.

  • Expose diagnostic radiographs in accordance with safety standards.
  • Dental imaging producing high quality images including radiographs, intraoral photographs, and extraoral photographs for diagnostic records.
  • Perform laboratory duties, including impressions and pouring models.
  • Patient impressions for lab processed prosthetics as directed by the Dentist and coordinated with outside labs.
  • Responsible for maintenance of dental equipment.
  • Schedule needed repairs of dental equipment and coordinate with technician to reduce impact on patient care.
  • Sterilize instruments; disinfect and organize examination rooms.
  • Weekly spore tests of sterilizers and maintenance of logs to meet AAAHC standards and presentation of documentation in audits.
  • Provide preventative dental education to clinic patients.
  • Review provider instructions with patients regarding home care and return visits.
  • Present post-op instructions and denture care instructions independently.
