The Redding Rancheria is seeking a Special Projects Manager.

JOB SUMMARY:

Provides Professional, management assistance to the Executive Team, which consists of the Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer and the Chief Financial Officer. Supervises Special Projects staff.

REQUIREMENTS/MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in a generalist administrative capacity for a governmental entity, preferably Tribal Government, and a Bachelors Degree.
  • High level organizational and writing skills a must.
  • High level experience in project management.
  • Minimum of two years experience in providing a variety of training to staff.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screening.
  • Indian preference.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  1.  Review, analyze and report on legislation affecting the Tribe and provide recommendations for any actions needed.
  2. Provide assistance in developing; grant applications, contracts, other types of agreements, request for proposals, operating budgets and program plans.
  3.  Assist in developing, implementing and drafting policies, procedures, resolutions ordinances.
  4. Recommends; Program improvements, direction on a variety of issues, etc.
  5.  Act as contract/agreement coordinator, as directed by Executive Team Members.
  6. Provide technical support to Executive Team Members at times when they are serving on work groups/teams/boards, etc.
  7. Provide general and technical support to department directors and program managers as requested by the Executive Team.
  8. Provide Policies and Procedures Coordination/Record Keeping.
  9.  Develop curriculum and deliver a variety of in- house trainings.
  10.  Responsible for coordinating Management Support meeting, including scheduling, food, and delivery of training.
  11.  Develop, keep, and maintain master calendar.
  12.  Coordinate all aspects of the Tribal Member gathering.
  13. Coordinates all aspects of the Budget Kick Off and 40% Carnival.
  14.  Coordination of logo apparel and gifts through the year.
