  • Update patient file with personal information or Alternate Resource information by appointment or walk-in.
  • Update and/or confirm address, phone number, and alternate resource status, identifying eligibility status, and obtaining treatment authorization signature at each appointment.
  • Assist patients with the registration process for appointments or walk-ins.
  • Scan and retrieve registration documents.
  • Provide patients with all required medical forms including Government Performance and Results Act (GPRA), Staying Healthy Assessment (SHA), and Release of information (ROI)
  • Schedule appointments by telephone or in person, following established appointment time/diagnosis guidelines.

JOB SUMMARY:

Medical Scribes are individuals trained in medical documentation who assist a provider throughout their shift. The primary goal is to increase the efficiency and productivity of the physician. Charge Nurse

Redding Rancheria is seeking a Charge Nurse. Under the direction of the Nursing Supervisor assists with the day to day coordination and operation of the medical department. In conjunction with the Nursing Supervisor, direct supervision of Medical Assistants and RN staff. Assists with patient and staff complaints. Creates and maintains a medical department schedule. Ensures medical assistant and RN orientation. Maintain competency checklists. Provides direct nursing care as needed. Ensures Medical Department is staffed appropriately daily. Directly responsible for patient flow.

Requirements/Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduate of accredited school of registered nursing and possess current/valid R.N. license.
  • BSN preferred.
  • CPR certification.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screening.
  • Indian preference.
  • Must be fingerprinted and pass background check.
