Redding Rancheria is seeking a Senior Director of Human Resources. Under direction from the Chief Operating Officer, incumbent performs professional work in planning, organizing, coordinating, and directing all functions of Redding Rancheria’s human resource function. Ensures that all governmental laws and regulations affecting human resources management are consistently followed.  Oversees the development and operation of compensation and benefit programs for the Tribe.  Acts as an internal consultant advising the Chief Executive Officer and other Tribal government managers regarding human resource issues.

Requirements/Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Business with emphasis in Human Resource Management
  • 7 to 10 years of broad and progressively responsible experience in Human Resource administration. Experience in Tribal operations is preferred, but not required.
  • PHR Certified Professional or SHRM Certified Senior Professional (SPHR) is preferred.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screening.

Working knowledge of Access helpful but not required.
