15. Completes employee separation of employment procedures according to legal and internal policy standards. This includes coordination with payroll to process and issue final checks with accuracy.
16. Ensures HR compliance for accreditation on a regular basis.
17. Supports current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital.
18. Works closely with the HR Manager to oversee, facilitate and develop the Tribal Youth Employment Program.

Redding Rancheria is seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant II- Human Resources.  This position under the direction of the Human Resources Manager, performs a variety of office support and/or secretarial duties for the Human Resources Department; composing and processing a variety of standard documents and correspondence, relaying telephone inquiries, scheduling calendar items and meetings, processing forms, and performing data entry. Coordinates employee related events. Assists in the hiring process and maintains employee files. Serves as backup and relief to Tribal Receptionist.

Requirements/Minimum Qualifications:

  • 1 to 3 years of clerical experience.
  • Preferred experience in event coordination.
  • Be dependable, reliable and possess organizational skills.

Requirements/Minimum Qualifications:

  • Preferred AA degree with a business emphasis or 3 years’ experience in Human Resources field.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word/Excel and HRIS systems.
  • Must be fingerprinted, submit to and pass background screening for FBI and State of California DOJ in order to be a certified finger print roller and have access to the background screening results
  • Attend adjudication training within 1 year of employment.
