This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: background checks, Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), on boarding, recruitment, employment, employee relations, and performance management.

Requirements/Minimum Qualifications:

  • Preferred AA degree with a business emphasis or 3 years’ experience in Human Resources field.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word/Excel and HRIS systems.
  • Must be fingerprinted, submit to and pass background screening for FBI and State of California DOJ in order to be a certified finger print roller and have access to the background screening results
  • Attend adjudication training within 1 year of employment.
  • ADP certification within three years of employment.

Public Relations Specialist

The Public Relations Specialist performs a variety of assignments that support the Public Relations Division, including the coordination of print jobs as required and the planning of all Redding Rancheria events.  This position will plan, prepare, and distribute tribal documents, including press releases, at the Director of Public Relations’ request.  The position will also provide reporting, general news and feature writing, and photography for tribal publications, which cover a variety of tribal and community events, meetings, and activities for the newspaper.

  • Experience in giving presentations to informal and formal groups in a variety of settings and atmospheres is preferred

Under the supervision of the Controller this position performs a variety of accounting support functions for the Redding Rancheria Tribal Government Finance Department.

REQUIREMENTS/MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or at least five years of experience in similar accounting positions.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screening.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

  • Perform and/or review any of the following accounting tasks: accounts payable, accounts.
  • Follow general accounting principles of governmental fund accounting
