The Clinical Systems Trainer supports the education and professional development of clinical staff across the organization. The Clinical Systems Trainer has a background in outpatient clinical care, EHR experience, technological skills and teaching experience to deliver clinical trainings to a wide range of health professionals. The Clinical Systems Trainer will work closely with clinic staff to implement trainings and assesses learners’ skills and knowledge in a variety of areas including use of the EHR, best clinical practices, quality and compliance.
REQUIREMENTS/MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5 years of experience working in the Healthcare field required
- 3+ years using an EHR as a primary job duty
- Experience with ancillary clinical systems (i.e. PACS, pharmacy software) preferred
- Experience with medical information systems as it relates to clinical outpatient practice
- Knowledge of employee training and development methodologies and ability to ensure that a target population has the knowledge and skills required
- Proficient with electronic health record systems in a healthcare setting with an excellent understanding of clinical language
- Must understand clinical work flow, systems, and procedures
- Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills to effectively communicate to stakeholder groups
- Skilled in Microsoft including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening.
