Director Of Informatics

Redding Rancheria is seeking a full-time Director of Informatics. This position under the direction of the Executive Director of Health Services, directs the clinical informatics department in the planning, development, testing, implementation and support of RRTHS clinical information systems focusing on the electronic health record. Serves as liaison between RRTHS clinical teams, leadership and technical departments. Provides overall direction and guidance to assigned informatics personnel. Manages resources and processes dedicated to clinical information systems including design and implementation of new systems

Requirements/Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Health Informatics, Health Information Management, Health Information Technology required. Master’s degree required within three years of employment.
  • Eight (8) years of clinical healthcare experience required.
  • Three (3) years of experience working with Electronic Health Records
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screening.

Clinical Data Analyst

Redding Rancheria is seeking a Clinical Data Analyst. The Clinical Data Analyst’s primary role is to gather data, conduct analysis and create reports or models as requested by various departments across the organization. The Clinical Data Analyst is responsible for analyzing data to ensure the data is accurate and reliable. The Clinical Data Analyst works collaboratively with key clinical and business leaders to develop data analysis solutions and visualizations to help optimize performance and to support strategic planning.

Requirements/Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Health Informatics, Data Analytics or Computer Science) or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience in the healthcare setting
  • Experience with relational databases with a SQL emphasis
  • Knowledge of relational database reporting tools (i.e. SSMS, SSRS, Access)
  • Knowledge of data analytics tools and statistics
  • Skilled in Microsoft including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook (experience with Excel macros and VBA desired)
  • Data reporting experience as it relates to quality initiatives and/or accreditation standards
  • Experience with medical information systems as it relates to clinical outpatient practice
  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills to effectively communicate to stakeholder groups
  • Analytical mindset with good problem-solving skills
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screening.

Health Compliance Supervisor

The Health Compliance Manager implements and administers programs, policies and practices to ensure the organization complies with IHS, HIPAA and accreditation. Monitors and administers compliance with federal, state and local regulations. Acts as a liaison to IHS, PHC and any other regulatory entities as needed in regards to compliance. Investigates potential compliance violations and makes recommendations to the Executive Director.

  • Five years of healthcare experience required.
  • Basic knowledge of Healthcare Compliance practices required.
