The Redding Rancheria is seeking a Surveillance Agent. The preferred schedule for this position is Monday- Wednesday 2:45 pm to 10:45 pm, Saturday, Sunday 6:45 am to 2:45 pm.

JOB SUMMARY:

To monitor and oversee all aspects of Gaming for Win- River Resort and Casino. Report all findings of violations of SOPs, Laws, MICs, TICS, Ordinances or Title 31 issues to Surveillance Management/Lead Surveillance Agent with any evidence and a report.

REQUIREMENTS/MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. High School diploma or GED; or six months to one (1) year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  2. Knowledge of all laws and regulations related to Gaming industry and surveillance, as well as Tribal policies and procedures
  3. Knowledge of Class II & III gaming operations.
  4. Must have the ability to effectively follow direction
  5. Must possess the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  6. Ability to view, discern and make sound judgements
  7. Ability to learn various count systems for card games, Video Lottery Terminals (VLTs) and obtain a good understanding of all related games operating within casino.
  8. Ability to communicate orally and in writing, with all levels of contact within and outside department
  9. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
  10. Be proficient in retaining and recalling numbers
  11. Ability to work in stressful situations and maintain a calm professional demeanor when communicating by telephone and/or radio

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

  1. Operate all surveillance systems and equipment (learn and operate Closed Circuit Television System)
  2. Must read and become thoroughly familiar with Casino and Department policies and procedures
  3. Must read and become thoroughly familiar with State Regulations
  4. Must read and become thoroughly familiar with Federal Regulations (25CFR 542 & 543)
  5. Must read and become thoroughly familiar with Tribal regulations (TICs)
  6. Log all pertinent observations and notifications in the Surveillance logbook
  7. Responsible to observe, detect and log any violations of law, policies and procedures for the entire operation, personnel and property
  8. Provide assistance with Win-River Casino Security Department and other departments in protecting the assets of the Tribe
  9. Provide friendly, fast, correct and helpful customer service to all Department Management as needed
  10. Review surveillance coverage on cases of patron/internal control disputes
  11. Review Surveillance footage to ascertain if a violation has occurred
  12. To report any and all major incidents to Surveillance Management
  13. Requires a person with the utmost integrity, and one that has no hesitation in reporting what he/she observes, no matter what the circumstances or who is involved
  14. Must have good oral and written communication skills
  15. Basic computer/typing skills
  16. Conduct routine random surveillance “Audits” to confirm transactions or events
  17. Conduct “Special Observations” as approved by surveillance management
  18. Report all discrepancies of Procedure/Internal Control, as well as Risks and Liabilities
  19. Report any and all violations of the law, gaming regulations, and Tribal policies and procedures, as well as all pertinent information regarding any Surveillance System issues
  20. Maintain a high standard of personal integrity
  21. Maintain strict confidentiality with respect to the operations, controls, and procedures involved in surveillance activities
  22. Be able to positively interact with other surveillance personnel
  23. Knowledge of computer hardware and software, including applications (Word, Excel and Power Point)

Gaming Information Systems Agent

The Redding Rancheria is seeking a Gaming Information Systems Agent. The preferred schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm.

JOB SUMMARY:

Perform system duties on surveillance equipment, including programming, network, electricity and the ability to install, maintain, and repair surveillance equipment. Monitor and oversee all aspects of gaming in the Casino.

REQUIREMENTS/MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. A High School diploma, or the equivalent thereof, is preferred.
  2. Scissor lift Certification, must obtain in 6 months.
  3. BICSI certification (INSTC, INSTF), is preferred.
  4. Knowledge of all laws and regulations related to Gaming industry and surveillance, as well as Tribal policies and procedures.
  5. Knowledge of Class II and III gaming operations.
  6. Minimum one year Low Voltage, Surveillance Technical, Information Technology or related experience required.

  8. Ability to analyze complex systems and identify the root cause of problems quickly and efficiently.
  9. Knowledge of various types of Cable management and installation techniques.
  10. Knowledge of computer hardware and software, including applications.
  11. Must be familiar with or be capable of learning various count systems for card games and slots and must have a good understanding of the different games and equipment used in the casino.

JOB SUMMARY:

Develop, implement and maintain an independent audit for review of Gaming
Operations utilizing the current audit procedures manual. This position will administer an Audit Plan to evaluate compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. You will be responsible for the review and investigation of any and all incident reports from security and/or surveillance.

Requirements/Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Law enforcement background preferred.
  • Must be fingerprinted and pass background check.
  • Must work weekends, swing and graveyard shifts

JOB SUMMARY:

Develop, implement and maintain an independent audit for review of Gaming
Operations utilizing the current audit procedures manual. This position will administer an Audit Plan to evaluate compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. You will be responsible for the review and investigation of any and all incident reports from security and/or surveillance.

REQUIREMENTS/MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A High School diploma, or the equivalent thereof, is preferred
  • Must have knowledge of National Indian Gaming Commission Internal Controls.

1. Develop, implement and maintain an independent Audit Program for the Gaming Commission’s Compliance Audit Plan utilizing the current audit procedures manual.
2. Select, verify and analyze transactions for audit projects based on defined criteria.
3. Verify policies and procedures are in compliance with applicable Federal, State and Redding Rancheria Laws, Rules and Regulations.
4. Review transactions, documents, records, reports and methods utilized for accuracy and effectiveness.
