The Redding Rancheria is seeking a Medication Transporter. The preferred schedule for this position is Monday- Friday 8:30 am to 5:30 pm.

JOB SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the Director of Pharmacy this position: Packages medication for mailing and delivery, as well as, delivers medications to eligible patients within a 30 mile radius of the Redding Rancheria Tribal Health Center.

REQUIREMENTS/MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Valid California driver’s license, a clean driving record and be insurable by Redding Rancheria’s insurance company.
  2. Must complete the following within one month of hire; Certified GSA Driver Training.
  3. Must complete tuberculosis test.
  4. Must be fingerprinted and pass background investigation.
  5. Must pass pre-employment drug screening.
  6. Indian preference.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

  1. Keep detailed daily records on mileage in an Excel Spreadsheet for government reimbursement.
  2. At the end of each day, complete a daily log on the computer of all times, mileage and destinations of the patients transported.
  3. Maintain government vehicle cleanliness inside and out for weekly inspections.
  4. Take government vehicle for any needed maintenance as outlined in the Preventative Maintenance Procedures.
  5. Package medications for both mail and delivery
  6. Use of cash registers at point of sale

Quality Improvement Specialist

Administrative Assistant II- Head Start

JOB SUMMARY:

  1. Completes monthly and yearly records and reports including CACFP, attendance reports, monthly department report, bus and van transportation reports, child enrollment reports, child care billing, etc.
  2. Performs ERSEA (Eligibility, Recruitment, Selection, Enrollment, and Attendance) duties for both Head Start and Child Care Families. Maintains all files to document eligibility upon audit. Follows up daily on absences and compiles monthly attendance letters and reports. Maintains Head Start and Child Care Enrollment Pool.
  3. Serves as “Communication Hub” for both Head Start and Child Care. Distributes pertinent information to the correct persons in a prompt manner; maintains confidentiality. Ensures the rest of the staff is current with what they need to know.
  4. Creates required Head Start and Child Care records and forms. i.e. attendance records, meal counts, sign in/out, etc. Ensures completed records and forms and received and properly filed. Organizes and coordinates all monthly Special Events: Big Time, Stick Horse Rodeo, Graduation, etc. Coordinates field trips: transportation, permission slips, etc. Responsible for input and upkeep of the child and family data base (Child Plus). Responsible for creating all Child Plus reports as needed.
  5. Organizes and coordinates guest speakers/volunteers for the classroom activities; CHP safety, annual reading challenge, etc.
  6. Create and distribute monthly informational newsletter to families.
  7. Schedule Netfacilities maintenance and submit documentation to safety coordinator. I.E. fire drills, shelter in place, bus evacuation drill, etc.
  8. Responsible for assigned clerical/secretarial duties. i.e. DOC STAR, copying, filing, sorting, mailing, inventory, ordering supplies, etc.
  9. Responsible for input and upkeep of family and staff contact information in One Call database. Including annual updates to “subgroup” names and affiliates.
  10. Responsible for assisting families in connecting to the Class Dojo platform. Ensure monthly distribution of program information and resources is clear and understandable to a diverse audience.
  11. Communicate and coordinate security needs with Program Manager and Human Resources Director monthly.
  12. As mandated, identify and report suspected child abuse to proper authorities following established guidelines. Ensures safety of children at all times.

Assist in parent orientation as it relates to program policies, parents fees, etc.

  1. Follows the Code of Ethical Conduct as established by the NAEYC in interactions with staff, children, parents and others in the community.
  2. Immediately reports to Head Start/Child Care Program Manager any unsafe or disruptive behavior or situation.
  3. Arrange child care for Tribal General Membership meetings; arrange food and activities.

Directly responsible for the review and audit of all prepared accounts payable batches, journal entries, grant fund tracking, reporting and reconciliations, preparation of tax filing and reporting documents for review. Must have a thorough knowledge Redding Rancheria financial policies, and the ability to solve complex problems. Serves as primary backup of Grant Analyst, Accountant II-Payroll Specialist and Banking Specialist, Account I-Accounts Payable and Purchasing Specialist.

  1. Bachelors in Accounting or Finance
  2. Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word; experience with MIP accounting software a plus.

Behavioral Health Case Manager

The Redding Rancheria is seeking a Behavioral Health Case Manager. The preferred schedule for this position is Monday- Friday 8 am to 5 pm. Monday will at our Trinity location. Tuesday – Friday will be at the Center for Advanced Care.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Behavioral Health Case Manager will work directly with Behavioral Health patients and staff to effectively link patients to social services and treatment options. The Case Manager will help patients navigating the healthcare system by providing case management, care coordination, outreach, support and linkage to care .

REQUIREMENTS/MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Must have a Bachelor’s degree in psychology or social work.
2. Documented experience working in a mental health related field.
3. Preferred experience in evaluating patient eligibility and Alternate Resources status.
4. Must be proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite programs including Word, Excel, Publisher, and PowerPoint to make spreadsheets, graphs, manage data and create brochures, presentations and documents on computers as needed.

Provides case management services, referral and coordination with other allied professionals and treatment providers, including Medical Providers, Psychiatrists, Therapists, Tribal Child and Family Services, School IEP Coordinators, Courts, Substance Abuse Treatment Facilities, and other community-based agencies.

Initiates and coordinates individualized care plan for clients, addressing both clinical and non-clinical components, and ensuring the care plan is available to the patient, primary care provider, Behavioral Health Therapist, psychiatrist, substance abuse counselor and/or other internal departments as needed on a case-by-case basis.

9. Maintains accurate and timely documentation, records, and case files in the NextGen system.
10. Manages and communicates lab results, referrals, and medication issues between providers and patients via clinical tasking.
11. Ensures follow up with patients regarding missed appointments and medication requests.
12. Rooms patients and records vital signs.
13. Reviews patient daily schedule for controlled medications and performs urine screenings for patients who are on controlled medications per DEA guidelines
14. Completes prior authorizations and appeals for patient medications.
15. Develops and maintains knowledge of a community-based network of alternative modes of care; aids clients to connect with community-based organizations to support and enhance wellness.
16. Answers and triages department calls, and distributes department referrals with guidance, in accordance with identified department service levels.
17. Collaborates and coordinates with other internal departments to provide a holistic approach to client care.
